Speaking of bands, have you heard Ryan Bingham and The Dead Horses?
The latest "Junky Star" has an airplane minus wings. Anyone know what it is? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:RB_Junky_Star.jpg
When the Speed Channel interviewed Mr. Penney for the 2004 victory, I knew you were a hardworking humble pilot. As I imagine Mr. Dawson is flying my Texas flag around the race course. That was my first year to the races. God Bless each and everyone of you for making this event worth the price. Because we all love the airplanes. I hope Mr. Penney is invited to the Checkered Flag Club for lunch as the guest speaker.
      GODSPEED RARE BEAR!
      Hank

"Hope" is why we keep coming back! We hope all the major birds show up prepared to run faster than ever before. We hope all the major birds stay healthy for Sundays final. We hope the weather cooperates! So many variables...but each year we walk away knowing we witnessed something special, that is guaranteed.

For starters I would say everything that was new last year but still being tweaked like the boil off, re-profiled wing inlets, etc.

They were getting that stuff dialed before Sunday last year, and that which shall never be spoken of happened, so we never got to see the result.
