Race 74 at Reno would make the year for me...The Ghost and 74 doing laps together would be more than one could wish for...I know they will not likely race in the same heats, but a display lap or two of those two airplanes together would be like 1947 all over again!!!...Hopefully some day we will also see Race 57 and 74 out there mixing it up!!!

Ya'll sure this is correct info? I'm hearing it won't be at Reno, and at best, they hope to fly before the snow season starts.

I heard from a co-worker who keeps in touch with the Odegaards that they were working hard to make it to Reno. Something went out in the supercharger he said. I heard all of this 2 days ago.

(This co-worker of mine does not really follow the races much either, but he is consumed with the aviation world.)

Right or wrong info, I dunno, but I would sure like it to be correct!!

I have been hearing the same things in e-mails directly from Odegaard Aviation. Nothing definitive, but they still think they have a shot as of just a couple of days ago. Wayne's information is consistent with what I was hearing as well.

Certainly not saying for sure one way or the other, but I'm hopeful. That being said, I'm almost always hopeful until I see who is on the ramp and who isn't.
