Occasionally you can catch one on the field, but not usually. There are restaurants near Stead that have WiFi access.

last year the wireless carries set up a mobile cell tower, the 3g was really snappy, but thats not wifi. I think my droid can be a wifi hotspot, alot of other phones can. Dont think the I-Phone can though <dig dig>

Yes some droids and iPhones can be used as a hotspot. You have to pay extra for them on your contract, turn them on, and they can only be used by 3 to people. It also consumes battery very fast. I wouldn't plan on having access to any personal cell based hotspots unless you know the person.

If your iPhone is jailbroken, you can download MYWI from cydia and have free mobile hotspot and tethering.

Check around. Last year the T6 people had one setup in the Buzzard Aviation Hanger.

I briny my own 3G hotspot.

If you can get a connection and your cell phone can download Reno's App you'll have a wealth of into in your hands.

Supposedly Verizon was going to have 4G service in Reno soon.
Not sure if there now.
