Sport Class?

What's going on with the Sport Class this year?

Last year, there was lots of talk about the GP-5. This year's been quiet.

Are the TMs ready to rock?

Has Mike made any more mods to the egg?

How will 42's monster engine perform?

It was a huge effort getting the Frog across the pond. How will they do their first year out?

Where did 33 go? Daryl? Rod? Anyone... anyone...

GP-5 ?? Not sure.

Only one TM racing this year. (Blue II)

Egg mods....probably.

Relentless: Big motor, but no turbos and he wants to sell it. I think it will be fast, but not winning speeds fast. No need to kill it. I think the race this year will be between Dacey and Lavelle (sp?)

Frog: SLOW not enough HP to keep up with a good turbo 540 Lancair much less win.

33: New engine program not fully sorted yet I believe. I hope they come back at some point.

I heard from Daryl that they are not going to be there this year. He said he is recovering from some health issue's, I dont know if that is why he will be absent.

Nothing that I know of. I didn't think it was planned to race this year. Maybe it is and I just didn't catch it on the list.

He's on the latest entry list. It will be nice to have a pair of them out there. Would have been better if there were three...

Not to get off topic but I also noticed Heather Penney's ride, Raju Grace, is back on the list. Did they get their tail pipe stuff fixed?

I think the normally aspirated 720 NXT will still go pretty good. I was a big fan of Rapid Travel (mainly because George is my EAA chapter) but I sure missed seeing the NXTs last year.

Yeah it will go good, just not the best IMHO. I'd say third behind the egg and Lavelle's Glassair assuming they are all healthy on Sunday.

One class. Bronze and Silver on the short course, Gold on the unlimited course. I hope none of the Gold guys have to bump their way up from a silver qual. spot...

Only the Gold will be on the unlimited course. SS has been folded back into the Sport class.

Except the Ghost didn't have to run the short course until it got in the gold.

Only the Gold will be on the unlimited course. SS has been folded back into the Sport class.

Good, as much as I love Rockets, it'd be a long race on the big course.
