I would have quit my job if they didn't give me time-off for RENO! Seriously!
In fact, I already had my flight itinarary to Reno before I asked for time-off of work!

Thanks for the first pics from the ramp! Good to see MISS A there!

After I teach some people to ride motorcycles this weekend, I will be on a plane to RENO Monday! WHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
I hate to say it. I quit one job to come to reno, and quit another to go to a moto gp race. Do I regret it? Yes. Would I do it again. You better believe it!!

It used to be in Galveston at Lone Star Flight Museum. They have some nice airplanes.

                  Florian,

Loved the F2G sunset photo! Made my night. Thank you for that and the first pic of race #0 Yak as well.

Re: We are on the ramp

So that is one of the Corsair's Walter Soplata had sitting outside for many years?

Great to see it restored. Thanks to Soplata and his family for saving a part of air racing history; and I've heard a first hand account of his "junk" collection...
