Flash flood advisory in the Carson City area, must be some big thunderheads in the area.
I don't know the location of that photo from Bill@Interstell.

Race #177 Galloping Ghost departed Minden this morning headed for Reno. It was great watching him fly over and past the house numerous times in the last week.
I wish I was headed to the races but something came up and I am tied up all week.

I am guessing this would be the little comment made about some primer seen on the leading edges of the wing above the gear struts. I beleive it was cleared up to be just nonsense

Still trying to determine if the Ghost is actually on the ramp at Stead. Lots of "she's on the way", "will be there soon", "last seen taking off from Minden headed north", but still no confirmation of a sighting.

What's with the ghostly happenings?

Snuck in this morning,
"As of now they haven't even really touched it since they put it in the pit. Most of the afternoon Unlimited's are on the ramp now or are in the process of being staged. They're in the process of getting their pit situated."
