Just read on the WAP site that September Fury holed a piston during the qualifying run yesterday. Very impressive speed by Hoot (466+!) but maybe the wick turned up a tad too high with the new engine? I hope they can get it fixed by Friday. Fingers double crossed!

That kinda makes sense as it was trailing smoke after it's qualifying run. He circled up high for quite a while before landing under power so maybe it's not too bad. I never heard him mayday. -

Its a radial engine the great thing about them is that can lose one or two cylinders and still operate to get back home, got to love those roundies. HAHAHA
