Any updates on Sept. Fury, Furias, Precious Metal?
Re: Any updates on Sept. Fury, Furias, Precious Metal?
Watched from the stands so I don't know about Sept. Fury or Precious Metal. Furious flew at the end of the first session. Flew several laps but didn't appear to be pushing it like he did Sunday. He was going about the same speed as the Ghost while Jimmy did his warm laps, then pulled off the course while he qualified.
The Ghost sounded pretty strong. Even did an extra lap because he was too high for the timers on his first one!

Can't wait to see Race 15's speed...Precious Metal is on its way, been in contact with its pilot on FB...they have had a very stressful trip with a seemingly endless list of issues on the way. Still no word after 232's apparent piston problem after qualifying...here's to hoping PM makes it in one piece and that 232 will be healthy for the end of the week.

Sounds like a "Griffon" in the house; Hail! Hail! the gangs all here.....let the games begin.....
2011 is going to be one for the books. I would like to bet the call is, "Gentlemen get your wrenches!" I wish I was there because this has got to be one of the best collection of "heavy metal" to sit on on a single tarmac in modern times- let alone in all of air racing history.
