David Rose RP-4

Just picked up the October Popular Mechanics where on page 62-65 photos re-surface (I hadn't seen anything on this in a couple of years now) of former Biplane race pilot/owner David Rose's very radical RP-4 which he says was designed to beat Rare Bear's absolute speed record.

Oh, oh...I can hear the "Rose Wacker" and other such teasing coming now.

Has anyone seen any wing area, span, gross weight, etc., figures?
