Posts made past 02:30PM 12/30/24 won't be on the new site!

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

Thanks again for your patience,

I miss the days of racing the Grumman F-85 and the North American P-57!

Weren't those great planes? What? No Hawker Sea Fluries?

I love their description of unlimited pylon racing, where you had to slow down from "350 mph to 150 mph" to fly around a pylon. A Mustang would almost fall out of the sky at that speed in a steep banked turn (unless Mr. Hoover was piloting it, that is... )

Other than those silly errors, it WAS good reading. Thank you for sharing it.
