We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.
I ask this in hopes that I haven't missed something.....please don't get upset if this has already been covered, I'm not always as up-to-date as I'd like to be
What is the status of "Miss Merced"? I always liked that one in the books, but was never able to see her fly.
I'm not positive, but it certainly could be. My very first air race.

Looks like I might have answered my own question. Just found this link:
[QUOTE=sandramore;94046]I didn't realize the bearcat was #24. I have another photo of it taken the year before it crashed at Mojave. That was so hard on Bud's wife.[QUOTE]
I worked with Bud's wife a few years ago. Awesome woman! I had asked this board if anyone had and pictures of Bud's racer and several people came through, along with permission to print them up for her. She appreciated the photo's so much! They brought a tear to her eyes. Just a little more joy that aafo.com has brought into this world!!
