I myself think we could use some more pictures here to ease the loss of not haveing a Race this season. It eases the pain, just saying.

We should not forget Jimmy ,the Ghost , or those that were seating in the box seats. But we need to move on and get things in order for the future. I did not make it out to Stead at all, the wife and I stayed in town that Saturday and seeing pictures of those who were there keeps the memory alive .I'd rathere see the happier times and remember the good things about the Races . Like I said ,dont forget the people that were in harms way , just try to keep it in perspective and keep the fun times going .

I agree completely with your post. I was there in front of section 3 when the world turned upside down. I've wrestled with what I witnessed, both awake and in my dreams. I'm starting to try and move on, and the best way I can think of is with humor and good memories.

I (We) will never forget Mr. Leeward and those that were lost in the tragedy on September 16th, 2011!

I'm with Jack. Victor Archer's picture of the Ghost is now the center piece on my living room wall. I'd like to put that last picture you posted up next to it, with your permission.
