Looking at the vid again makes me wonder what Stewart Dawson in the Bear saw. Looks like he was not far behind the Ghost.

Yeah, some of us were talking about that. You've got to be aware of what the person you're hoping to pass is doing. So Stewart was probably watching him pretty close until he pulled up. Don't think I would have wanted to be in that position. I'm sure the NTSB talked to all the pilots though.

Yeah, it's a pretty helpless feeling no matter where you were viewing from. I imagine the FAA and NTSB spoke to the pilots.

I saw Stewart Dawson climb out of the Bear after he landed. He started talking to Rod and then some of the crew and was describing the pull-up, roll and crash in an animated sort of way. He definitely saw it all unfold.
Now, what he saw leading up to those events would be interesting to know.
