Are you sure you want to donate it? I know how hard race gear is to come by. It probably won't make it here in time, but as soon as I have time I'm going to get the auction site up. I'll talk to you about it once that's done?

I have two, and its for a great cause. So yes I am sure Besides, the F-1's need to be represented and Knotty Girl is the most beautiful of them all IMHO.

Just spoke with Rich Crombie from Nevada Day, Inc., who is the liaison with the Governor's office. He asked that I remind everyone that today is the last day to purchase tickets to the banquet.

Because we have to let the Grand Sierra know how much food to fix, etc. we have to give them a final number by tomorrow morning.

You won't be able to purchase tickets at the door. They must be bought online by tonight. There is a will-call window right next to the Summit Pavilion where the banquet is being held. You'll pick your tickets up there.

Please everyone, if you can go, do so.

I wanted to thank everyone who donated items for us to auction at the Governor's banquet. Nevada Day, Inc handled all the money, so at the moment I'm not sure how much was raised, but as soon as I hear, I'll let everyone know.

I know many of you wanted pictures of the layout and the items you donated. Mark Downing was kind enough to take pictures for me, and we'll post those as soon as Mark has a chance to go through them. Also, you will be receiving letters thanking you, and providing you with the tax ID number so that you can get credit for the donations.

Mark, thanks for posting the links, I didn't get a chance to watch the news. What did it feel like having your photos shown on the news?

Beautiful, Mark, thank you. Did you take any of the black & white of #74? I know Bruce Croft would like to see them if you did.

It was really difficult trying to narrow the field from the 70-ish photos I had, down to eight. I'm looking forward to showing the rest off at other fundraisers.
