Movie week 4 - Flyboys for Veteran's Day!

For Veteran's day which was originally about celebrating the end of WW-I lets watch and discuss Flyboys!

Also try and have some Ravioli as I guess that is a Veteran's Day tradition! (the stuff you can learn from Wikipedia!)

I've only seen it once even though I have the movie on DVD. I remember it causing me to shout at the screen a lot, so no idea what I'll have to discuss after watching it again!

I flew the massively multiplayer combat sim that was marketed alongside that movie from 1995 when it was called "confirmed kill" to it's newer and current name "warbirds".

I flew there until 2006.

The game engine was used for it's WWI game called "Dawn of Aces" which was renamed for the movie to something else.

I now deliver airframe pepperidge at Aces High 2 where they also have a WWI arena.

This will be my (and Mrs. Race 29's) first week joining the "movie night" craze and discussion. I too have only seen it once and I'm looking forward to the discussion!! Get the popcorn ready!!
