The pilot of the second airplane was Skip Holm, who was on the radio telling the guy buzzing the pier to 'knock it the ****-off'.

So when the two F-15s rounded the sticks a few years ago, was that "hot dogging", does anybody think their command approved that "show"? I wonder if they were disciplined??

Was the audio portion made available to the public? I'd like to hear it if you know the link.

I just spent what felt like 30 agonizing minutes reading the information re Mr Riggs. Sounds like a lot of accusations by people against people...Reminds me of reading court documents on divorces where the wife says something, then the husband replies and it goes back and forth never ending.

Here is something from the comments section at the bottom of the page:
"Seriously, is anyone surprised??? Story after story, person after person, victim after victim. Everyone, everyone, everyone that gets involved with Riggs winds up this way. Lies, cons, slander, theft, threats, lawsuits… Business as usual.. Riggs moves on."

Thanks for the link. I think I'll find something else to read or pet my dog.

Makes me wonder why I ever started this thread, like I opened the wrong can of snakes all by accident.

I've not followed this one closely but it's funny how things work in the "background" with messages on this board....

While back, there was a guy, a new member, came in and started making all sorts of claims in posts (which I nuked, I think before anyone saw them)... gist of his posts was that the "other guy" in this play fell on the sword for Skip.. not necessairly voluntairly..

I never took it for anything other than nonsense.. still don't, not posting it because I feel it's relevent.. just curious that the guy was so damn intense... I'd have to dig up the exchange to really remember it but it was interesting... Maybe the actual perp... flattered that he'd try to make the case here..

Does he still get to fly. Or did they jerk his ticket? I'm kind of surprised that he only got 60 days. It's not cool when you scare the crap out of the general public. About a month ago I was at the beach and this Legacy comes down the beach about 100' AGL. I loved it but the people around me were a little freaked out by it.

What do you mean wrong? The guy deserves six months in County Jail! People on the Santa Monica Pier were not impressed. I love low fast passes more than anyone, but there is a time and place for those. The guy was a convicted felon and a**hole!
