I went to the AP version of this story because the Reno Gazette Journal, demonstrating their professional judgment and self-restraint, surrounded their version with images from Sept. 16. Class act, RGJ.

Wish I could go. I'm hoping NAG will have reps there. I wonder if RARA will go. It might not make a difference, but I for one would feel better knowing our voices would be heard, if given the opportunity.

Wish I could go. I'm hoping NAG will have reps there. I wonder if RARA will go. It might not make a difference, but I for one would feel better knowing our voices would be heard, if given the opportunity.

NAG would be there ONLY if we were summoned to give "expert" testimony or answer specific questions. I believe, if you read the announcement, that a number of people will be invited to be there or asked to testify. In the meantime, NAG will continue to be an advocate/support group of air racing fans who are addicted to the fastest motor sport around. Plan to demonstrate that support at the 2012 NCAR.

The NTSB tends to archive all their press conferences and public meetings on their website, and on youtube.

Hopefully they'll make this one available as well.
