        It would HAVE to be. There's no provision for cooling, and no carburator for fuel either.

          Wasn't there a link to a video on here years ago that featured a running scale merlin? I mean... actually running on gas?

          Fantastic what someone with the will, skills and tools can accomplish!

                As a machinist I appreciate the level of craftsmanship it took to produce that engine.

                I have sausage fingers so if I where to attempt something like that it would be twice the size.

                Air or gas very nice detail.

                  And the time!

                  I too am a Tool & Die machinist, so can really appreciate the effort it took, especially in turning the crankshaft. A lot of impressive work for an engine that can't run on it's own, so it has to be a labor of love.... ( )
