Re: NTSB Report WPR10FA162
that is just the factual report, the findings, if they can determine what the probable cause was, will be added when the final is issued. From what the factual report says, i would expect the findings to be something like "controlled flight into terrain, probable cause unknow"bob burns
ex tow-3, now race 66 crew
"dont mess with texas"

Was looking at the final today and that's the result, no real answers.

Re: NTSB Report WPR10FA162
One pilot, 10,000 hours, the other pilot, 33,000 hours of flight time. These two were as qualified as possible.
"...airplane circling overhead, followed by a constant, shallow rate of descent before it impacted terrain in a slightly nose down attitude."
What do you think happened? Stuck flight controls?Last edited by SkyvanDelta; 06-05-2012, 04:41 PM.

Re: NTSB Report WPR10FA162
I could probably think up a dozen possible causes and you a completely different 12, but it would be a pointless activity without any way to verify or vindicate any or them.
All paths lead up to the same results, the loss of two great guys and a vintage aircraft. That's probably the only fact we will ever know now.
