Been there with em', watched them do some of it.... What I'd like to say is, the guys taking care of the Bear at this time are nothing but SHARPASS full on, full time AIRPLANE mechanics..

I mean, seriously... I've sat in their hangar several times and watched, listened...

The reason that all the cylinders are being replaced is not because they blew... nope.. it's because the mechanics checked them, determined they were *going* to blow, and replaced them before they did and took the rest of the engine with them!

Hey.... call me a Rare Bear fan or whatever.. For me, this has all just been an excercise in watching something special happen..

I've got friends on several teams, I admire everyone who works the races. The "new kids on the block" are one sharp bunch of guys and girls!

That's just all there is to it!

I was wondering the same thing Wayne. Saw the 25 yp for quite a while followed by bear and the SAAB. Figured you were probably getting some great shots!
Saw friday's race from the Valley. When Skip goes over 500 MPH less than 100 feet away and leaves a trail of dust behind him cuz' he's so low, it does'nt get much better.
And my son is now a confirmed fan. He'd never seen anything like that before!
