That is very cool, indeed... I'd bet that, at least, for a moment or three, the old fellow getting into the cockpit felt just as young as he was when he went to war...
God.. they were just babies.... and they saved the world!!!!!
Next time you get behind a "white head" in traffic and start feeling a bit impatient... just pause for a moment and think "what if?"

Things were different then. Today's youth is doing the same. Technology may be different, but the end state goal is the same for sure. On 1 September, i hang my hat from the Army knowing that for 20 years, i have done my part.....just like they did years before me.John
