1983. Jack Sandberg's "Tipsy Too". Chuck Hall won the race then blew the engine and he had to land gear up in Lemon Valley.

Croosed the home pylon, climbed out towards the valley and just never came back to land. It was quite a while before they annonced it. Probably shy after the RB announcements a few years earlier and wanted to make sure he was OK.
