"FIFI" coming to North Carolina this weekend

The Commemorative Air Force's Boeing B-29 Superfortress bomber, Fifi., the only remaining flying example of the aircraft in the world, is coming to the Carolinas Aviation Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina on May 25.

The B-29 will arrive with the B-24, Diamond Lil, an equally rare World War II bomber and one of only two still flying.

It was in Phoenix last year. We stood on the road at the end of the runway and got great approach shots of it.
This was Nascar weekedn, I made the comment that it was in the air as the race started on Sunday and if there had been someone coordinating they could have had the last B-29 do the flyover after the national anthem.
You should see what could be doen. Instead of jet noise treat them to some round sound.
