Have you changed the region setting?

You can spray pledge furniture cleaner on the DVD, wipe straight across. Do not wipe in a circular motion!

Bored being a smarta$$ at the moment so I'll just try to help.

Regardless of the file format of the video, hardware in yer laptop, and whether yer running Windows, Mac, or anything else, just go here: http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ ,
download and install the version of "VLC media player" appropriate for yer operating system.

It is just a simple open source (read that as free) player that is ultra compatible with the whole range of file formats and computers out there. That should get it to play for you. If it doesn't, the video disk / file may damaged or corrupted -or- you may have computer configuration problems that will require an actual live, competent geek to look at yer system hands on to solve.

Personally I can't believe the movie sucks so bad that it makes ya wanna poke yer eyes out like all these other jokers try to make ya believe, so I say watch the damn thing.

VLC is a great piece of software, highly recommended.

Thunder Over Reno is stunning. Stunningly bad acting, with some stunningly good clips of racers in the air. Sadly, the acting kills it dead.

cost of DVD < $20. I have put over $20- in the local fire departments boots twice this year. What percent of the population wants to watch air racing, live or on DVD. Quit crying about the movie, enjoy the racers and give back to the guys trying to promote the sport you love. The other option is to cry, moan and 5 years from now tell co-workers how great Air Racing was and you have no idea why it stopped.....

I broke the code today, simply press enter on the keyboard and avoid the play icon on the viewer. TOR played on 3 laptops I tried and is destined to be a cult classic.
