9:45 am - Heard something sweet flying, ran outside thinking maybe the bear was in the air, and surprise its a P38.

Will have to swing by the airport this afternoon.

Correct. There are supposed to be three P-38's in town along with the gaggle of P-51s that are housed here. Should be fun, but will miss it due to other engagements.

I was there for another event. It was 23 Skidoo. John stopped to top off on his way to Nampa. Alby greeted him and helped.

Drove around the airport on the way home from work this morning hopping to see it, but got treated to several other AC instead. AT-6, T-28, and the sivi version of the P-51 (for the n life of me, I can't remember wat it is called at the moment. I had it this morning. Sigh). And several other AC in the RARA hanger, with more lining up out side in the T-6 pits.

Not sure what was going on, but there was a lot of kids running around.

Dunno if this would have anything to do with it but there's a bunch of CAP'ers from Vegas on the field this week.... BeachBoss would know more..
