Kermit Weeks takes his newly-acquired Albatros D.Va for its first flight since arriving in Florida. Built by Peter Jackson's The Vintage Aviator, Ltd. in New Zealand, this was its first flight in the US - and very likely the first flight of any Albatros in the US in a very long time! The engine is an authentic Mercedes 200hp straight six-cylinder engine. Awesome sound!

Check out this video... It's GoPro head camera footage Kermit put up flying the Albatros from his perspective. He calls it the, "Kermie Cam". Nice!
