Flyby in Danville

Just saw 3 beautiful P-51s and a P-40 fly over my home in Danville. Sounded like the start of half full medallion heat.

Can't wait for next month!

First thoughts, I thought I'd heard the GP5 was not coming but I'm glad to see it registered. A couple of TMs, an NXT and a gaggle of Legacys fill what looks to be a pretty full sport class.

I miss seeing Miss Gianna in the line up in biplanes. Congratulations Phantom on another trophy.

Along with the GP-5, you can add Czechmate to the list of people on the list but not going to show.

Did they look like this? This formation landed at LVK that afternoon.

The P-40 and Kimberly Kaye belong to Tony Banta. I don't know who owns Red Dog XII but it appears to also be based at Livermore. The fourth aircraft is a T-28.

PS: Kimberly Kaye is gorgeous!

The 40 and the 2 51s look right, but I'm pretty sure I'd have heard the dissonant noise from the round engine against the beautiful roar of the v-12s.

Unless it (GP-5) got busted again, which I'm not aware of, they've been flying it down here pretty regular.

I hear that (pun intended). According to Sparky Air Racing's Facebook posts, Brant was up with those three that day. I'm not sure why he was as far down as Danville given their Nut Tree home base, but Sparky did not land at Livermore.
