Remember The Days??

I could be remembering wrong, but back in the days when I used to sit in a reserved seat with a scanner stuck in my ear and a video camera in my hand... I remember a lot of chatter on the radio between various military types that were en route here and there... They would arrange to detour slightly and make a pass or two over the race site..

Anyone else remember this?

This year, this BUFF did a pass and it was pretty awesome.

Gotta admire the guys flying these airplanes that are many years older than they are!

Military Fly-By

I did a fly-by in an F-15 Thurs PM about 1430...unfortunately I was at FL310. Could see fellas on the course, looked like the T-6 guys. Unfortunately I was with a student on an instrument ride to Fallon and back, and we couldn't spare the gas for a "low" fly-by!
