Saddened by the loss of Robert Odegaard and his beautiful Corsair race 74. I remember this morning, almost one year ago today, many of us were in awe of seeing these two amazing racers sitting on the ramp just as the sun rose up over Stead Field in Reno. So very sad that now both aircraft and two great pilots are gone. Blue Skies and Tailwinds...

Didn't read the last name Odegaard til a few seconds afte reading the articles. After I read it I was struck with tears. Very sad day indeed. Beautiful plane and amazing pilot. They both will be missed! Blue skies Bob!!
