IIRC, last year PM didn't break 400, only people with a crack pipe in one hand and posting with the other can come up with 450+. 407 would be a great day.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think PM's fastest qualifying speed ever was 453.078 in 1988.

That is correct...and she destroyed her motor doing it and ended up in a riverbed...the "build-quality" wasn't quite as good then.

According to Mike, (as of Saturday morning) They wanted to do the first run without any speed tape or fillers, to set a base speed.

If they didnt have her taped up, PM2 has a very good chance to up her speed later in the week. AND she very well might set a new top speed.

I think if you have the Truck & Trailer Rig, you can push things more and go faster. Without it, you have to be more careful. Don't want to blow things up so you can't fly home.

There is another griffon powered racer in a hanger that is being built. It may even race some day, but PM is the only one racing. Cant say about a truck, they have tools and stuff.

Thom dosnt do things half assed, they have what they need to compete.
