I've had that same worry after seeing countless photos of that streak of oil...but one of the crew members mentioned that if there WASN'T any oil streak, then that would be a reason for worry. Who knows.

That is correct. According to their personnel on their Facebook Fan Page, the modified scoop failed during testing, and the stock one was much stronger. I don't know if they were talking about airflow, or if the modified one failed structurally Either way, they said that they had to go with what was on at the time they had to leave for Reno, so I don't know if they were intending on doing more work to it.

I think I'd more interested in the right clamshell door gap and the oil cooler door running wide open.

Looks like he's using some nose-down trim and if you look closely, it looks like the flat, trailing edge fairing that screws on the Tail Cone just inside the elevator is missing. Could that be a reflection? Looks like its not there to me.
