478 is really good. Always wondered what a modified 4360 Sea Fury with race canopy could do. Glad to hear Matt Jackson is OK.

Well for all of you hoping for a miracle (like I have been for the last 2 hours), its not sounding too hopeful. Apparently the left gear collapsed as well and she ended on her belly in the dirt. Currently being crane lifted and that's never a good sign.

Third fastest qualifying Unlimited so far according to the airrace website... Great shame... Beautiful airplane... But the most important thing is that the pilot is OK

Qualifying speed was set with the tail wheel hanging part way down. How much faster would he have been clean? Hope we get to see next year. Great piloting on the landing.

He had gear issues at take off... Left main would not retract... Cycled a few times and finally got them up... Tail wheel seemed to only be part way out on qual laps

Furias was placed on a flat bed and hangered....Her Reno 2012 is Over.

Ah not what I wanted to hear, but what I assumed. Gosh, i haven't got to see her fly and its my favorite plane at Reno!!! Good job with the landing though Matt, nobody could have done it better than you! If my all time favorite plane needs to be in anybody's hands... I'd choose Matt
