OT (sort of - it's still Mustangs) - Mustang Days!
Re: OT (sort of - it's still Mustangs) - Mustang Days!
Great pics!
I had a book a long time ago or still do, "Ghosts" I think was the title. I remember seeing a picture of a Mustang that was being flown by David Gilmour from Pink Floyd.
Would the pic of "Comfortably Numb" be the one he had in his collection? If so, what a great name in the lineage of owners to have in those log books!!

Re: OT (sort of - it's still Mustangs) - Mustang Days!
Curious if these photos have been digitally altered for color, contrast...?
The #3 & 4 polished versions seem to be unrealistic the way they stand out against the background, but cameras can stop action that the eye and brain cannot process.
Excellent pictures with great detail and superb object/camera coordination.
btw, I wonder if the pilot in pic #1 plans on tapping the toe brakes anytime soon...
Well, not knowing Mustang systems AT ALL I wouldn't know whether that's a necessary step. The Gulfstream I fly puts 400 PSI into the brakes as soon as the gear handle goes up. Kinda spoils you I guess.

Really great photos!! I hope to make it there next year. Thanks for the pic of "Comfortably Numb". I am a huge Pink Floyd fan and "Comfortably Numb" has been on nearly every racecar I ever built and raced.
Too cool!!!!
