  • Grumman Duck - Cockpit Kermie Cam

Kermit Weeks does up the Grumman Duck with his wonderful Kermie Cam series. Certainly loving these cockpit videos he has been putting out lately. This three parter here is now my favorite. Always loved this plane, and to get the feel of flying it... well that's something special to me. The lake landing and take off in part 3 is extraordinary. Check it out.

I love these videos from Kermit. Such a fantastic idea. The only way they would be better is if he could figure out how to get the commentary audible once the engine is running. Great stuff though!

there is an audio jack in the GP Hero2. I'm suprised Kermit hasn't figured it out yet. You do need a splitter or an extra audio outlet in the airplane to make it work. Cool vids!

It would be nice to see any or all of the high strung Unlimited Racers produce a video like this, ie Rare Bear, Strega, Precious Metal, Dreadnought etc.

Not just an in flight video, but a pre flight walk around, a narrated flight, a post flight walk around.

The videos were pretty cool. Ducks are pretty uncommon and seeing one from this perspective was great.

I second the thought on doing the unlimited planes. That would be awesome and would give the public a better idea of what goes into getting one into the air.

Awesome. Love this plane. Great to see the water landing too. Was hoping he would do that. I don't mind the sound when engine is running. They do say, "You Are There", about these vids. Engine noise adds to that effect. Really love this series. Can't wait to see what is next.

"Murphy's first (solo) flight in The Duck"~

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Re. legendary aviator~Frank Tallman flying his Grumman Duck f/the 1971 Hollywood film~ "Murphy's War"...

My friend-Chuck Greenhill (who owns & flies his own restored Pearl Harbor survivor example) stated after watching this amazing movie clip: "Bucky, you'd have to fly a Duck to know just how hard it would be to duplicate what Frank Tallman's doing with his airplane in this footage".

Especially knowing Tallman flew w/a prosthetic leg!

Thread resurrection. Haven't seen any Kermie Cam video releases lately. Got spoiled there for a while. Sure would like to see more from "The World's Greatest Aircraft Collection". How about one on the Storch?
