Of course, unless Mr. Lewis comes through and buys up the remaining super-mustangs. for the sole purpose of racing, we may just have to face the facts...
Three more TF-51's for the world...
The Mosquito comes to race Patron, Spitfire races the FW190, Paul Allen decides he loves Air Racing along with Kermit Weeks. I hit the Mega Lottery and set up a life time million a year prize. thanks, KC
I offer up that we can include Blind Man's Bluff/Critical Mass in that race too, since it's back to TMk-20 status now.
If you are going to do that, you might as well include the Buick and former September Pops since they are 2 seaters as well. I think it might become a one sided race at that point however. Spec TF-51 class? Essentially a T-6 class but with TF-51s?

Will
The logic in that doesn't work, though. The TF-class is for former highly modified Mustangs like Sumthin' Else and Stiletto (and future projects like Dago and Voodoo) that have been re-modified as TF-51's.
The Buick was always a two seater that was modified to a racer and still is. Pops never was technically a 'racer', and just has new clothes. That's why Critical Mass qualified, because she was a highly modified racer that is now back to stock 'trainer' status.
