While I was shooting pics of Bear I figured the inquiring minds that roost here would want to see this.

We are in the final stages of resolving the issues with the forums move to the new location. After talking with tech support, the only solution was to send him a copy of all the images. This will take time - but we know the fix SO it's only a matter of time now.

Kinda reminds me of a Mercedes I shoe-horned a Chevy big block into...WWOOOOOEEEEE!!!!!
But seriously, it seems ... short! I'll be interested in what kind of control surfaces they put on this ... piece of mechanical art.

Engine in place is junk hence the rust, hung for mockup purposes.

If I may de-lurk.....here's an old thread:
All Air Racing All the time! Unregistered visitors: this forum is open for your reading enjoyment. We invite you to join so you can enjoy the full features of this system. Including file uploads, event calender, private messages and more. Due to an unmanageable amount of SPAM membership applications, the join process is a few step process. It all makes it secure!
This project has had me excited for quite a long time. Hopefully, the new owner will complete it. Not trying to stir-the-pot, but I'm thinking that maybe he should retire the Bear and use the engine on this thing.......It has a proper 500 kn wing unlike a bearcat, i.e. not so prone to mach-tuck at 540+ mph.
