Been doing some "Spring-cleaning" and its time once again to liquidate some of my possessions. I have two display aircraft that I purchased from the Discovery Channel store at a local mall.
1. Travel Air "Mystery Ship".
17" w.s., 12" length.
Aircraft looks great and has all flying wires intact.
Base shows some age.
Paid $139 at the Discovery Channel store.
2. Hughes H-1 Racer.
15" w.s., 17" length.
Small chip on tip of vertical stab.
Sticky substance on bottom of horizontal stab.
Sticky substance on one side of the base.
Paid $139 at the Discovery Channel store.
Both aircraft look great from 2-3 feet...somehow something sticky got spilled on the H-1(picts)...but is not noticeable unless you look at the bottom of the tail section. The tip of the tail could be fixed with a little putty and silver paint.
Im looking to get $75 for each OR $125 for both!
