I have a friend who has the official air race pins, from 1982 to 2006, and is wondering what they might be worth, and where would be the best place to sell them.

Hard to say what their value is but you can check the official merchandise as i know they sell quite a bit of old pins for a pretty profit. Ebay would be the place to sell them.
On that note, my 82 pin is broken, I would be more than happy to strike a deal for that one given it was my first year out there and my hat just looks wrong without it.
