Hi Folks,
I have a historical question regarding the B-26.
My Dad grew up in Virginia near Langley Feild in the late 40's thru the early 50's.He's told me several times about the practice strafing runs they used to make over the feild in the B-26's and they were usually right at dusk through the early evenings. He said they would target practice with their missles and tracers in preparing for the Korean campaign. These images have allways run through my imagination as something that must have been quite a sight to be seen.
My qustion is: is there anyone out there who has any association with the pilots who were performing these events?
Is there some sort of record (Stories, books, videos, etc.) available via the Internet or any other source?
Any information or direction in this area would make my Dads day,as well as myself.
Anthony
