OK, you guys with Photoshop can fix just about anything. I don't have it, and I never learned it. (I was the writer in my Ad Agency days.) But, last week while putting together a Power Point for Mark Feist's Winter Reno party (A great party!), I started playing with photo effects in MGI Photo Suite. (Came with my wife's Sony digital camera.) I've found that you can do some pretty neat things with what were considered throw-away shots. Here's on of Strega running up early in the morning in 2002. The original shot was heavy on the digital zoom and a blurred. So I cropped the shot aggressively and used the oil paint effect. Not bad.
