Fishing for Eagle shots. Never got out of the single digits today, but it was again amazing to watch these Bald Eagles.

Just incredible Tim, used to brave the single digit's in Northern Washington while working in the San Juan Islands. Plenty of big birds up there too!

I think I might just have to go to the local lake that has a nesting pair and see if I can't get some shots like these...

I was using the 300 f/2.8, and the 1.4x on the 40D.

Great stuff Tim. I love the apparent strain as the Eagle pulls the fish from the water in number 4. What focusing mode are you using?

That's odd, AI Servo has worked fine for me on every Canon I've owned. ElanIIE, EOS3, 10D, 20D, 30D, 40D, and MkIIN. It's designed for action.
