Gillespie Field Airshow

Hey all, Went to the Gillespie Field Airshow last weekend. Other than being very HOT it was a good show. I had two diffrent schedules and they didn't follow either one so you never knew what was going to fly untill they pulled the aircraft out of the lineup. CAF had a lot of there planes out and the Collings foundation B-24 & B-17 were also there.
A nice surprise the 2002 Rolls-Royce Aviation Heritage Trophy winner
Fairey Firefly was there.

A few more photos, oh from my new digital, yes I said digital camera.
Got myself the Canon rebel and a Canon 100-400 is lens.
Still trying to figure things out but looking prety good so far.
Let me know what you think.

Once again, great stuff Victor. I think my favs are the tri-motor and the skyraider. Have fun burnin' bytes with the digital. I really think this photo stuff is an addiction....

Hey Victor.. nice stuff! I too like the Tri motor! At first, I thought we were gonna get to give you a bad time about stopping the props.. then I looked closer..

PS... check yer chip.. you're getting the dreded dust on 'er. Dunno how you clean the Canon's but the Nikons need it after about every day in the field.
