Re: Oshkosh 2004
I did get some C-130 stuff, it just a big old boring grey plane to me. Fat Albert is much better looking. I only got a couple of the fly over's. 4 T-6's together, and one with 3. With them flying right in the damn sun it is tough. Plus I only have one body, so I did not feel like playing lense roulette.
As for Shockwave, I only saw the one truck on Saturday. Here is a shot from Peoria last weekend.
As for being there, I'm from Wisconsin (in Illinois now), so I have not missed Oshkosh since 1983!!

Re: Oshkosh 2004
A few more. A better shot of Daddy's Girl is first. If this plane is at Reno to compete for the Heritage Trophy, it wins hands down. Getting to Oshkosh at 6:30AM has its advantages. I think I took close to 100 images of P-51's trying all kinds of different angles. A couple hours later, hundreds of people surrounded them!!
If you look close at the Excalibur shot you will see I'm not an expert at cloning yet.

Re: Oshkosh 2004
Great photos!!
The performance of the C-130J is nothing short of mind blowing. My wing had H's, and we thought we were the baddest things in the sky. The J's have impressed me. Any one looking for a great read...try Herk: The Hero of the Skies
Long live the great Herky Bird!!
