You must know somebody. I have been told don't even ask to go inside the Penske pit, even with press access.

I was a guest of DHL. Ship close to 200,000 parcels per year and if they want to win your business they'll invite you too. I was a photo snappin' fool while I had the chance.

A couple years ago I got into Audi's pit at Petit Le Mans. Some of the Germans gave me the stink eye as I snapped away with my stereo camera, but to date I've never been asked not to take pictures - except in certain parts of the Ronald Reagan. When the Navy says don't take pictures, you don't take pictures.

By the way, I absolutely love the color and composition in your last shot.
