Absolutely top notch photos, Bill; congratulations. Damn, I wish the Tigercat had held together to run in the heat races; I missed seeing it fly, arriving as I did late Wednesday afternoon.
Do you mind telling us what gear you used to get these photos?
Thank you KH. I used a Fujifilm S2 (similar to a Nikon D100) and a Sigma 50-500mm lens. I really hope the Tigercat will be back. Everyone must see and hear it rounding the pylons; trully something you will not forget. Thanks for looking.
Great shots Bill!!! Thanks for posting the pics of the Big Cat. I was really looking forward to seeing
The Boss Man turning the pylons but I didn't get to the races untill Friday.
What film are you using? Your photos sure are sharp.
OOPS!!! Film that was funny, Bill your using a digital SLR right? I'm still stuck in the relm of the film world but I'm really thinking of switching. What resolution are your shots taken at and how many pics can you get on a chip?
Im shooting at 12mp jpg, which makes each pic about 4.5 mb. I can get 220 on a 1 gb mocrodrive and 211 on a 1 gb compact flash card. I have a Portable Storage Device that I download the cards to so I can take zillions of pics. Thanks for looking Victor.
