I saw her out on the ramp - via the live video feed on loadedtv - about 15-20 minutes ago. Someone was wiping her down and it appeared she was getting prepped to fly.
Call me nuts...But there seems to be an extraoridinary amount of DQ;s from our "friends" @ RARA..Hmmmm. Damned near makes my ass wonder.
HEY...RARA..you payin' attention...????!!!!
Really..?? Flying too HIGH..??? Ya; gotta be kidding
Let's try to remember, this is not necessairly what RARA wants, it's what the NTSB recommend and the FAA wanted. Pilots are not happy being "squeezed" into a smaller space around 8 but that's what they are having to deal with.... There were meetings this AM, reporters not allowed, we may have some changes, let's hope...
The altitude restriction is based on the "ballistics" if there were an issue at pylon 8. Higher altitudes means parts travel farther. At least, that's their reasoning. Hopefully, they'll work something out.
