Obviously Mike N builds a great engine, but Matt has had to run her harder than anyone expected and he'll have a long path around the other racers before he even catches sight of Jr.

Re: Czech Mate Great Race
The little Yak was smoking. What were its lap speeds?
The big nose on a tiny plane reminds me of a slender woman with large breast implants. Out of proportions that catch the eyes.Last edited by SkyvanDelta; 09-15-2013, 07:22 PM.

Re: Czech Mate Great Race
Agree! That little Yak was hauling the mail all week. Great job Team Czech Mate!!
What a disappointment with Bear! The move to Texas, the huge crew, big budget, same story! A crew member was talking about getting a new motor next year. What about this year? You would think they would have put time into tearing down the existing engine, especially when they suspected it was hurt from last years over heating. No cross country flight, no Reno far from home hanger to limit development excuse. Just don't understand why they can't make it go. Too bad the team can't reach out to Cornell and come to an understanding. Dave could act as a consultant. Drop the egos! Work together to bring the Bear back to her glory days. This project is just too big for one man, one ego and history is proving this in a very humbling way to the detriment of the air racing community.
