Thanks guys... it's amazing what the right time of day and a different angle can do for a shot (GOOD LIGHTING)

That was with a borrowed D2H also, while mine was back at Nikon for repair, which has always made me wonder if my camera is a bit "off" focus... I rarely get that clear a shot with it and that weekend (PRS) I had a really high percentage of keepers..

I had to pass on buying that exact body a few months ago for just over a grand... broke my heart not to be able to buy it, but I just don't have the bux and my next body should, by all rights, be a D2X rather than another 2H...

Would that it were!

Once Victor gets his 1DMKII, I might as well just watch

As of 2/23/06 she is. Quite a few of the airplanes I maintain are in the RARA hanger so I see her ALMOST every day.

Didn't she have a Thorne-built Mouse the year the prop governor let go and over-revved the engine?
