ok i just got back from steaD

my batteries were dead in the camera
any way i saw Steadfast , spirit of texas ,kimbery brooke,argonaught and polar bear......the bear, september pops and unlimited air trailers
were also there setting up....
the bear cave and the thunder hanger were both closed
my time was cut short...better report with photos i hope tomarrow

This morning 2 SeaFurys (not sure who) flew in, then a formation consisting of Sept Pops, Sept Fury, Big Bossman, Argonaught, and a mustang came in tight formation! I heard on the scanner they performed a mid field break.

Just settling in and getting my reluctant (very expensive) laptop to cooperate with me...

I was on the ramp just before Sunset tonight (friday) shot a few photos, talked with John Parker..

Bear with me as I whip something up...

Since a lot of visitors to AAFO don't ever come to this board, we're going to try to post updates as "stories" on main part of the site.. I'll (do my best to) link them here as we write em..

If I miss something, check the main page (http://aafo.com/) pretty often to see if we put something up..

Now, I'm 55, don't have as much spunk as I used to, just completed 9.5 straight hours behind the wheel and I'm damn tired and fightin' a nagging back injury, which at times, has me unable to walk..

That said, I washed down 800mg of Ibuprophen a while ago, ate a leg and thigh of a chicken and a HUGE plate of salad..

I'm diggin in, downloading and processing the few shots I took and I'm gonna do my best to get sumptin up in the next hour os so..

Bear (Please... NO PUN INTENDED) with me!
