"Raider"

This April 18, will mark the sixtieth anniversary of the daring World War Two raid on Tokyo, Japan by Jimmy Dolittle and is band of B-25's. Last May, AAFO.COM visited the 59th reunion, held at Fresno, California. The event saw twelve of the vintage Mitchell bombers as well as several other WWII and current warbirds, gathered to honor the men and machines of the Tokyo raid.

Visitors to the event were treated to flying demonstrations as well as a mass formation fly-by of the B-25's. Seen here during a mid-morning overcast formation flight, this aircraft, owned by John and Vicki Lister of San Antonio, Texas, carries the name "Top Secret."
